Settings

MacMinion > Settings (⌘,), or the gear at the bottom of the sidebar. Each tab's ? button opens its part of this page.

General

• AddOns Folder: Live, PTS, or any folder (Choose…). NA and EU share the live folder.
• Show in menu bar: the update count and Update All in the menu bar.
• Open at login.
• Import from Minion: reads Minion's install records and update log again. Minion's files aren't changed.

Updates

• MacMinion: your version, automatic checks and installs for MacMinion itself, Check Now, and release notes. See Updating MacMinion.
• Addon Checks: check automatically, and how often (every 30 minutes to once a day; once a day by default).
• Addon Installs: install updates automatically, downloads at once (1 to 4), and a notification when updates are ready.

Layout

• Overview: Customize Overview… to choose and order sections, and Reset to Default.
• Show As: grid or list, for Installed and Find More separately.
• Cards: card size (compact, regular, large) and preview images.
• Grid: updates first as wide cards, libraries in their own section, and the top four Find More results above the grid.

Backups

• Where: the backup folder (Minion's by default) and the game name (ESO-1).
• When: never, every day, or every week; how many to keep; and Back Up Now.

AI

Provider, Ollama server and model (with the recommendation and benchmark) or Claude key and model, Test Connection, and automatic summaries. See AI.

Appearance

The accent color. Minion Blue is the default, the same as the icon. System follows your Mac's accent, and Minion Red is Minion's original color. Light and dark mode follow your Mac.
